No PAPI approach lights on rwy 25/L R or 24/LR?
« on: December 16, 2012, 03:08:53 am »
Is that normal? I have PAPI lights on 7/L R and 6/ L R. Does anyone have PAPI lights on there copy? There is no GS indicator.

Yup, that is correct. KLAX does not have glide slope indicators on the east side approaches in real life.

According to the current FAA Airport/Facility Directory (available at http://aeronav.faa.gov/afd.asp), PAPI is installed on 24L and 24R, as well as 6 L/R and 7 L/R. That means only 25L/R don't have PAPI's installed. The applicable section is shown here...

The scenery has PAPI visible at all runways, except the 25 L/R, which is correct according to reality.
