NO water in the harbour!!!!
« on: October 16, 2012, 04:07:22 pm »
I just purchased the KFLL airport. Installed it, activated it and the Addonn Magager says it's activated. BUT all ships are on dry land! There is NO water in the harbour.

I also installed it i P3D and it's the same problem, no water.

What have I done wrong? I use the latest versioon of UTX USA.

You have problem with landclass maybe UTX or other 3rd party.
On UTX control panel you can quickly disable the scenery.
Try to disable one by one and check the result.

KFLL landclass doesn't extend to the harbour.

Yes I have UTX but where do I disable the scenery? When I look at Terrain/Modify Status of Repositioned Airports KFLL is not listed.
Can you please tell me where to disable the part/or the wholescenery?

I am not entitled to do support for other product.
This is my method to disable UTX, open Setup Tool on Terrain tab select "Quick Ultimate Terrain Enable\Disable.
I advice to use this method to disable UTX, but if you are an expert, you can do it also in scenery library inside FSX.
You will be able to uncheck(disable temporary) all 3rd party addon.
Even FSDT airport can be unchecked.
hope this help.

Thanks for trying to help me.

Problem solved. The file UT Exclude for Default Sceneries was moved too high up in the FSX Scenery Library.

Well, there IS a reason why our installer put the airport on the topmost layer. If you move them, anything can happen.

The general rule is usually very simple: the *smaller* area a scenery covers, the *highest* layer it should usually placed on. This means airports should usually take the topmost layers, and large scale sceneries should be down below.
