Here are a couple of shots showing the use of tricolor smoke, as created and described by user "dtdb" on the F/A-18 forum, and where there are also instructions on how to make this for yourself.

It is a fictional configuration for the Blue Angels, who only use white smoke-oil, but it is typical for the British Red Arrows and some other European display teams to use tricolor smoke.
