couatl.exe keeps crashing

Hello guys! After I just reinstalled KORD and KJFK airports (cause I upgraded to Win8) I constantly receive this error upon starting fsx. Everything worked fine yesterday. I tried reinstalling of Add-on Manager (Run as Admin) , restaring the PC, no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Fault Module Name:   wrap_oal.dll

This indicate that it's NOT Couatl that has crashes, but it's the wrap_oal.dll module that has caused Couatl to crash.

The wrap_oal.dll it's a sound library from Creative that is used to support OpenAL, and it interfaces with your audio drivers. It's likely either the Windows 8 audio driver is not compatible with it.

Try this OpenAl download from Creative:

http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Downloads/oalinst.zip

But I don't have any idea if it can be used with Windows 8, right now you should considered Windows 8 to be used "at your own risk" for FSDT products, we'll eventually support it officially in the future, but is still a bit early for it.

If still doesn't work, try to DELETE the wrap_oal.dll file in the FSX\fsdreamteam\Couatl folder, so the one downloaded from Creative will take precedence. And, try running FSX "As Administrator"
