GSX does not recognize Brakes are set!
« on: October 12, 2012, 10:06:36 pm »
Hi,
since a while GSX does not recognizes if my brakes are set or not - so it does not provide Ground Service / Push Back. As I am only using PMDG this issue I have with the NGX.
Kind Regards Tom

GSX surely recognizes the parking brakes, on on the PMDG too. Your problem is likely that, by turning off the airplane without any alternative power source, you don't have hydraulics/electrics to set the brake.

Hmm, no that is not the case - it is for push back APU runnning, elctr. hydraulic on. But off course I will check again.

I can only confirm there it's not possible that GSX wouldn't detect the parking brake: it simply reads the standard FSX variable for it as reported by FSX itself using Simconnect, if GSX says the parking brake is not set, then it's not set, so the problem must be on the airplane side.

Most of users use the PMDG and this problem was reported only once since GSX was released:

And it was fixed without doing any changes to GSX.
