Max and Min Altitudes
« on: August 31, 2012, 07:54:52 pm »
Hi I read here in the forum that when a door is lower than the min. altitude the stairs wont show. I read also the manual and I didn't found anything about the altitudes. For example in some 747 and 777 I can't have some rear stairs, because when they are almost reaching the altitude stated they freeze :s.

I would like to know what is the minimum and maximum altitude.

Happy Flights ;)

This was explained here:

But even if you change that value, it won't auto-magically allow for a stair to reach an airplane door which it couldn't reach because of how its model is physically made, the stair might appear, but it will still not reach the door.

With several 747 and 777 we tested ( default 747, PMDG 747, Wilco 777, CS 777 ) there are no problems with the supplied stairs to reach their doors and since they are internally supported, you don't even need to create config for them.
