LDL B767 Rear Exit Doors?
« on: June 21, 2012, 01:26:16 pm »
Is there anyway to edit the aircraft gsx.cfg file so that GSX will send catering truck to the R Rear as well as truck to the R Front?  Also a way that stairs could be sent to L Rear.  This is a high capacity aircraft and highly unlikely that only one catering truck to the front.

I know that these doors are not animated on the LDL model but if someone knows the coordinates of one of the doors (right or left) then I think both could be set to receive GSX attention.  Short of someone already having the coordinates, I think the only way would be by using the front door height and trial and error.  Any suggestions?

Hi,

The LDL B767 is fully supported by GSX...

When I ask for catering I have two on the way (right rear AND right front door) and the same for stairway (one on the left front door AND one on the left rear door).

Maybe post there (copy and paste) your actual gsx.cfg to see where is the possible problem.

Apparently the "winglet" version is not(?).  Running the gsx.cfg editor for that model gave me the following:

[aircraft]
nosegear = 22.710648
refueling = 1
absoluteheights = 0

[exit1]
pos = -2.7432 21.6408 1.0668 0.0
code = 1
name = exit 1

[exit2]
remove = 1

[exit3]
remove = 1

[exit4]
remove = 1

[service1]
flip = 1
code = 0

[service2]
remove = 1

[cargo1]
pos = 1.3716 16.4592 -1.2192 0.0
code = 2
name = exit 2
uldcode = AUTO

[cargo2]
pos = 1.3716 -9.144 -1.2192 0.0
code = 2
name = exit 2
uldcode = AUTO

Comparing it to the B767 standard GSX.cfg there is a difference in the coordinates but as far as I know there is no difference in model only that Winglets were added for economy.  The standard B767 GSX.cfg uses absolute heights so cannot compare exactly.  I will try copying standard to the winglet cfg and see if the vehicles seem to be attaching in the correct positons.   Correct me if I am wrong on this assumption and procedure.

That did the trick!  Winglet versions now have rear staircase and BOTH catering vehicles attaching all in correct visual positions.

Seems your initial problem come from the "Remove" instruction at Exit4 AND Service2...

From the manuel :

"This remove parameters instructs GSX to ignore this exit, and can be used to disable
all services linked to it. Removing a passenger exit will disable passengers stairs and will stop GSX from asking to open that door when boarding/deboarding passengers.
NOTE: the remove parameter should be used alone, without any other parameters on the same Exit section."
