Iris DCS World F-15E and F-14D
« on: June 02, 2012, 09:21:26 pm »
Iris are now making 3 addons for DCS the F-15E, F-14D and F22 so I suspect the next addon for DCS might be an F/A-18A or C. The F-14D sounds really good I'm hoping for multiplayer 2 seat with fully modelled DCS level avionics etc.

And they are making a BD5J ;D.

DCS World can be downloaded from here:

http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=18&end_pos=135&lang=en

There is also the following addons being made by other developers:

DCS Mig21
DCS Hawk
DCS Eurofighter Typhoon

The makers of the Hawk might do a T45C if someone improves the carrierops for DCS. ;D

"They should hire Spazsinbad hes an A4 pilot." I think I have explained from early on, when first joining this forum, how I had an unhappy experience helping RAZBAM with his FS2004(7?) A-4 series. But not to worry. Fixing an aircraft flying qualities via e-mail requires constant communication in a common language (both English and flying terms) and that was never possible with the person making those changes (not RAZBAM) - perhaps things would be different in this broadband era. I could go on and on but that is 'water under the bridge' now.

In a few words the reason why there were many 'volumes' of A-4 Skyhawk material was due to material e-mailed via dialup (at that time) or via post on DVDs - then CDs - because inability to use DVDs (at that time - somewhere in South America).

Press Release

Pre-Purchase “DCS: Combined Arms” in June 2012

DUXFORD, UK, May 31st 2012 – The Fighter Collection and Eagle Dynamics will offer DCS: Combined Arms as a digital download pre-purchase for $29.99 in June 2012. Pre-purchase also provides access to pre-release Beta versions of the title.

DCS: Combined Arms gives the user control of ground forces during the battle. Use the strategic map to move ground forces, set artillery fire missions, and control the ground battle. Assume the role of a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) and designate targets for close air support aircraft, or directly control an armor vehicles or air defense weapons and engage enemy forces.

Play DCS: Combined Arms as a real time strategy game, a first person armor warfare simulation, or direct the ground battle from the cockpit of a DCS aircraft like the A-10C Warthog, Ka-50 Black Shark, or P-51D Mustang.

DCS: Combined Arms supports both single player and multiplayer gameplay. When in multiplayer, different players can take on different roles such as artillery commanders, tank commanders, pilots, JTACS, etc. DCS: Combined Arms allows you full control of the battle. All roles can be changed dynamically during the battle.

Features of the DCS: Combined Arms:

I would've thought you would be interested as they are doing an F-14? The other thing is some 3rd Party devs from FSX are making addons for DCS, perhaps at some stage FSDT might be interested some day.
