Where's the Marshaller?

When arriving at an airport (any will do) if I call for the Follow Me car when I arrive at the gate there is no Marshaller. Conversely, if I don't want the Follow Me car it says a Marshaller has been alerted and will be at the gate.  However, the guy is never there.  Is this a matter of settings or some other thing? I've installed all the downloads as they are announced so I'm up to date with GSX.
I'm using FSX, Win 7/64 bit etc.

First, it would be best if you post a GSX support question in the GSX support section, not in the General section. This question was already discussed and answered there:
