Couatl Crash upon deboarding
« on: March 29, 2012, 10:21:22 pm »
Since the last update Couatl engine crashes when deboarding. This happens when the baggage carts arrive in their first position at the belt loader.

Doesn't happen, and nobody else reported it.

Have you perhaps applied the latest update without having applied the previous major update ? If not, or you aren't sure, download and install the latest Stand-Alone Addon Manager (download it again, even if you already have a copy), and install that one.

If the problem still doesn't go away with the current Addon Manager, please report exactly the following:

- Airplane used

- Airport used. If it's not default, identify the scenery and, possibly, which AFCAD is used

- Gate selected

Hi,

I redownloaded the latest addon manager and installed it, but the problem persists. Plane used is the PMDG NGX -800 at LRCP with the Greencats scenery (which is usually for FS9 but runs perfectly fine in FSX), http://fs.greencats.ro/index.php?option=com_rokdownloads&view=file&Itemid=73

When deboarding or catering is selected, all vehicles appear and move to their positions, as soon as the aft airstair is moved up the application crashes.
If boarding is selected the vehicles appear and it crashes instantly.

Never had problems using native FS9 AFCAD/ scenery in FSX, so this error is new to me.. is this the onyl cause or could there be anything done on my side to get this to work?

We never tested FS9 AFCADs with GSX, but that error is surely an indication of a problem with it.
