Where do I find the GSX.CFG file?
« on: March 23, 2012, 07:33:34 am »
Sorry, I've read the manual and it says about editing the file, but doesn't say where I can find the template file.

Is there a template located somewhere for us to use or do we have to create one?  If we have to create one, how do we do it?

Thanks but I couldn't work any of the above out from reading the manual  ???

From what I saw last night there is an example CFG located in the Manual. Just copy and paste the text and create your own CFG file, thats what I have done.

Cheers

We haven't included a full template, because one of the interesting features of the GSX.CFG file, is that you don't have to do a complete file, if you don't want to, it's possible to create just a smaller subset of it, if you want to simply change something on an already recognized airplane.

For example, if you want to just disable the default refueling page, it would be enough to create a GSX.CFG file with just these lines:

[aircraft]
refueling = 0

And the rest of the info will be taken from the GSX internal database.
