ULD works, but they cross each other paths when coming up to the aircraft.
They surely don't, because by default, they start from opposite sides of the parking.
However, it's possible there's a problem with a specific parking on one of the airports we customized, which haven't all been entirely updated for the double loaders.
As usually, always include a precise description of which airport and which gate you used when you found the problem.
The requested Cargo Door AFT is opened (shortcut in PMDG menu is correct, the AFT door opens), yet the GSX says it's not. Only if I open the Cargo Bulk does it react and start loading on the Cargo AFT with the ULD.
We'll check this.
Also, a 747 is not being loaded from the front door if one jetway exists, but on the second, the 2L. An option to set per aircraft the default door would be cool. Something like intelliscene.cfg, but for GSX.
GSX has to work with default jetways so, it wouldn't be enough to just change GSX, but the Exits on the aircraft.cfg too, which controls the default jetways, and it would have to be changed dynamically per-parking, and FSX can't do that without having to restart the airplane so, even if we added it as a GSX feature to react to the parking type (jetway or non), FSX wouldn't follow, especially when you start on airport parked on the apron and land where there's a jetway.
Which means, if it can't be dynamic, but would require an aircraft.cfg editing + an FSX restart, it would be quite similar to simply use the new GSX.CFG feature, and edit it as the aircraft.cfg, to set the configuration before flight.
Airplane_DeBoarding_Hello3.wav and Hello4 are not playing in Winamp. Bad files? Others play...
They play in GSX and in Windows Media Player.
Still no update to set the whole airport to have gates or not, a global setting we talked about?
No, because we want to do it right. Setting it globally per airport or per parking is wrong. We'll do it much better, with a real hierarchical level so, you'll be able to navigate all parking and groups as they are defined in the AFCAD, and decide at which level (parking, group, airport) to set the jetway/passenger/rear stairs options so, if you are at the parking level, your setting will change just that parking, if you set it while a group (usually a terminal) it will affect all parking in that group, and if you set it at the airport level, it will affect the whole airport.
This will allow to decide how precise you want to be, without losing the ability to still have areas that ARE in the open, that you would otherwise lose if the setting was just per airport.
Otherwise, a nice NICE update. Thanks for the great sounds and the ULDs, love them. Someone asked about NGX... I don't think NGX's can fit ULDs, or?
No, it doesn't.
The manual has a table which airplanes use ULDs, and GSX respects that, and with their correct types so, instead of just selecting basing on the door's height, we can specify the airplane configuration very precisely so, for example, no unrealistic situations like 757 or Concorde with ULDs (the passengers 757 doesn't use them too). And, it can be made per door so, for example, we set the A320 family to use an hybrid configuration of ULD in the rear and the old conveyor belt in the front, just because it was nice to look at.
But of course, now that there's the GSX.CFG file available, everyone can set everything as he want.
