PMDG MD11 Main Entry Door

When I park at a gate with a jetway with the PMDG MD11, the jetway always connects to door 2L.

But GSX insists I open door 1L before it will start de-boarding passengers.
It also doesn't tell me to open door 4L, even though it connects a staircase to it.

Is there a way to make the main exit for the MD11 2L instead of 1L?

Also, during the initial boarding procedure, GSX doesn't remind me to close the cargo doors. Is this normal?

That's because the aircraft.cfg contains coordinates for that door.

But GSX insists I open door 1L before it will start de-boarding passengers.

That's because GSX doesn't have the concept of a secondary door that becomes primary if there's a jetway. Maybe we can just swap them for the MD-11, but we need to test if there aren't other side effects.

It surely does. That door is called "AFT L" on the PMDG MD11 and on GSX too (when used with the MD11) and GSX ask to open it, together with the other two "FWD L" and "MID L"

Yes, it's not supposed to, it will do it when you ask for pushback clearance.
