No airport service available at this position
« on: February 05, 2012, 01:13:11 pm »
Hi,

I do not understand. Whatever the airport and the plane, I have this message: "No airport service available at this position."

With or without engines, with or without the doors open ...

 Have you any idea?

Thank You :'(

It seems you are trying to activate GSX service for the first time, so it's creating the airports cache (a message on screen will indicate this), and until it's finished, you can't use any services. It might take a few minutes, depending how many sceneries you have, but it will be done only once.

Try to disable any one scenery in the Scenery Library, then exit FSX, reenter, re-enable it, exit again, launch FSX again and see if it indicates the cache is being rebuilt.

I tried the default A321 at one of the two gate locations in the default FMU and have services.

It should work. I understand why it not works on any airport, regardless of the aircraft used!
I think something does not happen as it should: a file that is not converted may be, but who can tell?
Thank you for your help, I need. Excuse me but I do not speak English, I writing from Paris.

Try to remove this folder:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\SceneryIndexes

And let FSX rebuild the whole scenery cache.
