Thanks. As you can see I'm just doing 360's right now to get a feel for each spot. It's tough. .

He mentioned using FSRecorder in his OP.

I have a question.. the exhaust nozzles on those F/A-18s looks to be nearly 100% (as if the planes are in afterburner), yet as we can see, they are not. How is that?

The thing with FS-Recorder is that all models revert to the default state, ie. the way that they look in the FSX "Opening Screen". If you look at the F-18 in the opening screen the nozzles are wide open, so that is the way that they'll be when you play the F-18 in FS-Recorder. Furthermore, they won't change position based in power settings for that aircraft, they'll just reamain open they entire time.

Just to add to what I said above; all of the items on the airplane that are not "recorded" revert to their default state (exhaust nozzles, hook, canopy, etc.)

You are getting a lot better very quickly, and without fly by wire. I admire people that do that kind of precission flying, as a thing it's a lot more difficult in a sim than in real life.

Hi microbrewst and shylock,

I edited your posts because that bunch of large screenshots made it quite difficult to load the page for people with slower connections. To post screenshots to an external servers, it's best to use the [URL] tag, instead of the [IMG] tag so, people with slower connection can simply choose not to click on the link, and still follow the thread.

However, the better solution is not even using an external pictures server like photobucket or imageshack. We HAVE server space to post pictures here, and it should be much faster than those servers, and it has the automatic thumbnail feature.

To upload pictures here, just press the "+Additional Options" below, then Attach all your pictures to your message: they'll become automatically thumbnailed, for easier access.
