First, you shouldn't post the same message twice, it won't give you a better chance to get a reply, the only result is that one of them will be removed.

I've just tried the installers, and they works just fine, including the servers were they download the files at the end of the process. So, the problem must be something on your end.

In any case, not having the very latest version of the files is not really a problem, it's just you might not get the very latest version of the Addon Manager/Couatl files, but you can also download them separately using the Stand-Alone Addon Manager installer, which is always kept updated to the very latest version, even when the internet download doesn't work.

Please, specify what do you mean with crash, exactly. If you see an error message, it's a crash (in this case, what's the error saying ? ), if it's a *quit* to desktop without message, it means you are ended up with mixed versions of the Addon Manager files, which shouldn't happen, unless your antivirus has blocked the update.

In this case, the solution is as follows:

- Uninstall the scenery. Reply YES when asked if you want to remove the Addon Manager and the Couatl Engine. Reply YES to both questions.

- TURN OFF your antivirus. Don't just exit from its interface, but turn off the real time protection. Actual wording changes between products, however, it's the option to scan every file that gets open in real time, without user intervention.

- Reinstall the sceneries with the Antivirus TURNED OFF. Don't launch FSX yet.

- Configure the antivirus to exclude the following files from scanning:

YourFSXFolder\bglmanx.dll
YourFSXFolder\fsdreamteam\Couatl\couatl.exe

YourFSXFolder it's usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X, if you installed it in the default folder.

- Now you can turn the antivirus back on, and launch FSX.

- Check you are seeing BOTH the "Addon Manager" menu AND the "Couatl powered products" menu under the "Addons" menu
