KLAX pre-purchase technical issues

Hello FSDT,
I just tried your KLAX and KDFW. However I never managed to load the airport into fsx due to CTDs.
The CTDs occur within 1 minute from selecting KLAX and I did not click "Fly now". KDFW is everything ok.
g2d.dll crashes first and then either API.dll or terrain.dll
My system specs are:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit/FSX Acceleration
i550m/4GB RAM/NVIDIA GT335M

Edit: I have tried to update my display driver and also generated a new fsx.cfg, but that didn't help.

A crash into G2D.dll, API.dll and terrain.dll safely discount any problem with the scenery, and the fact that KDFW works, safely discounts any problem with the Addon Manager installation either.

It's more likely a problem with another addon you have in the area. Do you have Ultimate Terrain ? If yes, try to remove it, or reinstalling or be sure it's the latest version and, of course, try if the problem goes away by disabling it, using its provided utility.

Also, try with AI traffic at 0%, to check if the problem could be caused by an AI model (that doesn't appear at KDFW)

Nope- I only have Ultimate Terrain installed.

After disabling Ultimate Terrain USA, the problem disappears. I'll get the latest version. So the KLAX should be theoretically compatible with Ultimate Terrain right?

It's not that KLAX is not compatible with Ultimate Terrain, it's Ultimate Terrain that might have a problem in the KLAX area, which you discovered only now because you haven't flew much in that area before.
