Im not going to be a troll but i rather stick with Aerosoft's AES in my opionion.  Its already going to be hard competeing!  LOL i can tell.
I got more than 3/4ths of my 1200 aircraft collection configured for AES so yea...

And GSX is already compatible with all of them, since it can read your intelliscene.cfg files just fine.

Our internal airplane database format is more capable, since includes other informations about the airplane that we'll explain soon but, if a specific airplane is not included in our database, GSX will read an existing intelliscene.cfg file you might already have in the airplane folder.

And if you're following the AES forum, Oliver isn't going down without a fight.  He's slowly adding all the nice GSX animations to version 2.2 of AES.

He's slowly adding all the nice GSX animations to version 2.2 of AES.

He can't without abandoning FS9, since those animations are possible because FSX supports skinned meshes with bones, and FS9 doesn't.

I'm guessing he's using the same methods he used to have the marshaller walk alongside your aircraft, which worked in FS9.  Not three dimensional characters and more of a shuffle than a walk, but it worked.

For me it looks "almost" similar. I'm VERY pleased with AES 2.20  ;D

Apart for how much you rate "almost" regarding how it looks, and of course looks is of course subjective, fact is that GSX works for free on all our airports, so you'll likely use GSX there in any case since it's replacing the previous ParkMe functions and it will become an integral part of our sceneries, but it also works everywhere else, even in airports of developers that *oppose* to AES (like Blueprint, for example), with a single purchase.

Of course, that's relevant only if you use FSX. With FS9, it's fairly obvious there's no other choice than AES.

Umberto, thats why I will get GSX, because it works everywhere. I hope you guys release it soon, I got places to fly to and need my push back services!

well with Microsft Flight being a failure, im going to stick with FS9 and FSX for now.  I use FS9 a majority of the time while i use FSX for multiplayer.  I spent $6000 for FS9 and $150 for FSX.  Thats including the cost of my computers.  Il just get a better computer like the Dell XPS 8300 for FSX then i will get GSX for Minneapolis St. Paul International since you guys wont make the scenery.  Or will you?

It's very close, the code is basically done, we are just testing the installer and the Live Update feature now, and doing the finishing work on the support for our airports.
