As I am not an expert in computers I am am always wary whether or not to install up-grades etc.
I have the SP1 on my new PC waiting to be installed. I know there was an issue with AES.( have posted on their forum to ask if this has been resolved.
Has it had any affect on your FSDT products.
Is it know what most people have done with this up-date.

We haven't seen any reports of problems with Windows 7 SP1, I've installed it recently, and no problems whatsoever with any of our products.

Installed, up to now not noticed any issues.
I dont have Win7, but the only thing I had read about the SP1 update was something NickN said in April about it. Here's the quote.
"
There was a "OPPPPSSSS" update added to Windows 7 after SP1 was released
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2488113
The KB2488113 update was added to the OPTIONAL WU list, not the CRITICAL
Make sure you have KB2488113 installed for the right OS version (x32/x64) after W7 SP1 was installed. I do not know if MS added it to the SP1 patch after the fact, or, listed it in the CRITICAL list later
I always check the optional Windows updates section to see if there is anything in the list that should be installed.. compat updates are always good to install from that list
