disappearing graphics
« on: October 18, 2011, 02:34:40 am »
Hello All,  I checked around but couldn't find this particular problem, and was wondering if it was just me or anyone else had this issue? At night, or Dusk, when the airport parking lights come on... The logos on the jetways and details on the jetways disappear!! The buildings are there and look great. The airport vehicles are there. The JETWAYS are there, but they are grey colored and for instance: KORD gate K3 is an American Airlines Gate... The AA logo is missing as well as the brownish color paint. The object is there but detail is mising. I noticed the same thing at DFW. Is it just me or is there anyone else who notices this. It only happens when nighttime comes, during the day all is fine. Any assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks In Advance
Aaron

Actually, no. I'm using Direct X 11.

Actually, no. I'm using Direct X 11.

FSX doesn't support DX11 so, you are either using DX9 or DX10, if the "DirectX 10 preview" checkmark is turned on.

If the problem doesn't go away in DX9 mode, try updating your video drivers, because it's surely a video driver issue.

Ok... my pc is in direct x 11. I'll have to check the settings within FSX to see what's selected there.

No, they aren't, except those specifically listed as being compatible, which as of today it's only KDFW and KLAX.
