Dave, I think you have a misunderstanding about the IFLOLS you see as shown in your screengrab.

Great explanation SpazSinbad - after several reads, I got it. Thank you  ;)

Dave...

Now maybe sometime down the line, Serge could make a "lineup" visual add-on (LRLS) that would be just below the IFLOLS gauge?  Just depends on how many people want it and if Serge wants to make it.

This would be just perfect - no pressure!

Sludge---
I would like it as well.  Glad to see more development.

SpazSinbad---
I greatly like the explanation.  Many thanks.

Having a little fun in spite of my suffering from frameratitis.

Fellas...

Look at this GEM of a site that I found while looking for some real-world LRLS pictures.

http://www.hrana.org/documents/NewsletterNovember2010.pdf

Take a gander at the article, THEN just go back and type in www.hrana.org and save it to Fav's.  It comes with a monthly LSO newsletter.  Talk about a mini-goldmine waiting to be sifted through.

Later

fsxnp, yep I helped you do that I know. :-) But I had to click on that link and was just helping others avoid doing it again.  :o   Sorry.   ;D

Sludge, You are a gem - thanks. I was looking for the latest LSO newsletter yesterday. The recent newsletters have had tantalising information about the NEW 'LSO Reference Manual' which has not been updated since 1999 and currently it is in WORD format online but in a place I cannot go (not being USN I guess). Perhaps soon the finished Manual PDF will become available online.

From a previous LSO newsletter: "The LSO Reference Manual is now available on the LSO School Website! More than 200 pages in length, the LSORM encompasses everything from Shipboard Organization to Pilot Training. The Reference Manual is intended to be the new “go to” document for LSOs when looking for information not covered in NATOPS."

Fixed installer (if installer worked previously, no need to re-download and re-install)
http://www.mediafire.com/?9p1to4kqdnbpafp

For info, this does not seem to be right for Win 7 HP.

I unzipped the Set up folder to the desktop and ran it and saw the attached mesage.  I tried turning off AVG still no install.  Looking through the posts on this page I saw the advice to "Run as Administrator", did this and all went according to plan.

(For safety I closed down FSX and re-started before selecting the Basic Sludge Hornet.)

As before, a fantastic aeroplane which is a credit to all who developed it. :)

I hope this helps,

Tregarth

Alright.  I think I know what happened and I have an idea of how to fix it, but I am at school right now.  If you have a skype to help me test, it would be greatly helpful.

Dear Razgriz,

Whilst walking our dog I have been having a long thought.  When I started to install FSXNP's FCLP scenery I found I had User Acoount Control switched on.

Could this be the explanation?

I am thinking of creating a thread titled "READ THIS If you are having problems intalling....."

Item 1.  TURN OFF !"£$%^&*()+ User Account Control.

Item 2.

Thanks for the reply,

Tregarth

The whole problem lies with UAC.

I would like to have the Hud on Barometric Alt. as default setting. I exported the XML file and change it, but I can't get it back to the Sludge location. See Screen-shot. I drag it over, small red circle, No entry. Herb

Export the whole cab into a folder with the same name as the cab file, except without the extension, then change the files there.  Also, delete the cab so it looks in the folder.

Example:

FA18_HUD_VC_R_Init.cab

Folder is called:
FA18_HUD_VC_R_Init

Thank you Razgriz!
It did work, just now it is a Folder Icon, Not a winrar icon. CAB file should have a cab icon, but on my computer it show as Rar.... Later:
I did tried another way, WINZIP this open the Cab-file also and let me Edit the XML file right in there. Much less problem as with WinRar.  Herb
