A little sloppy windows in terminals
« on: October 18, 2010, 06:46:30 pm »
Thanks for wonderful sceneries!

I have KORD, KJFK, KFLL, PHNL, LSZH and now KDFW. But i like to challenge you on the quality of the terminal windows. They are alittle bit sloppy. What I mean I can't see any tranparancy. Nothing inside. That makes the buildings more authentic I think. Maybe an update with the terminal glass facades.

Zürich got it.

All the best

Transparent windows are not cheap on the fps, and they often can cause visual artifacts, which would impact fps even more, if those artifacts were to be eliminated, which is why the larger airports like JFK, PHNL and KDFW don't have them. Pity you don't have KLAS, which features transparent terminals with people inside, or the Hawaii airports that, being so small, can afford the luxury of transparent windows without any problems on fps that we would have, for example, at JFK.

We treat each scenery as a separate problem so, everything that is in or it's not in, is always the result of some tought and consideration and, of course, compromise.
