Oh I do both...been mainly FSX.  But until I get my FSX back on the PC then we will be FS9....But an FSX video will be coming to a PC near you

Nice video. A tip: don't do night landings, do dusk or dawn. That way you can see more. In this video, 80% of the screen is pitch black, while at dusk, you see a wide array of colors

I do all sorts of landing....Maybe it is your monitor..Everyone elses sees it just fine.  The night brings out the airport lights better.  However I will do one in or at different times of the day....Look on my youtube channel I have much more.  juniormafia27 is the youtube name.

One other tip, since I'm assuming you're using fraps, I've noticed you have the mouse cursor in the video. to take that out, open up fraps->movies->check "hide mouse cursor in video." this is only if you're using the latest version of fraps though, the path might be different, but you could disable mouse in previous versions also

Yeah, I forgot about the mouse cursor.  I am usually good about that.  I will make an FSX version however my FSX Delux is in storage and I bought the standard one the other day and now have to figure out out to do the SDK update.  Which might not be happening.
