You said "recently". Does this mean they USED to work, and are crashing only now ?

Because, this might be easily caused by problems in one of the AI textures, since AI usually come after a few minutes, and maybe it's an AI that doesn't appear at other places.

You haven't replied to my first question: do the sceneries USED to work on your system and is this crash happening only recently ? If they used to work, there might be a conflict with another module that you installed recently.

If this is the case, one can find conflicts between modules this way:

- Open you DLL.XML file with a text editor (eg. Notepad is fine), the file is located at %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX

- Look for all the <Disabled>False</Disabled> lines, and change them to <Disabled>True</Disabled>

- Do this for ALL the <Launch.Addon> sections, EXCEPT for the Addon Manager one (bglmanx.dll) and the main section at the top of the file (which would disable the whole XML file so, you shouldn't change it)

- Save the file and exit.

- Do the same for the EXE.XML file, located in the same folder, disable all modules EXCEPT for Couatl (fsdreamteam\couatl.exe)

- Save the file and exit

- Launch FSX and see if it works. If it does, re-enable every module, one by one, check if FSX works, enable another module, and so on, until you find the conflicting one.

Yes it's happened recently here is xml.dll

  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
- <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
  <Descr>Launch</Descr>
  <Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
- <Launch.Addon>
  <Name>Addon Manager</Name>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
  <Path>bglmanx.dll</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
- <Launch.Addon>
  <Name>FSUIPC 4</Name>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
  </SimBase.Document>

Ok, the dll.xml doesn't look to be the issue, we know our module doesn't have any issues with FSUIPC, which is the only other module you have.

What about the EXE.XML ?

Is the Windows crash dialog allowing you to see error details, to see *what's* crashing ? Sorry, but you should probably figure it out this on your own, because I can't read the Windows dialog in russian...

Nothing wrong with the EXE.XML either. Sorry, but without crash details (you really don't have any button to see more info about the crash) it's impossible to understand what the problem is.

The issue is, our modules loads and start to work, as soon as FSX starts so, if they crashes, it should happen as soon FSX starts, not when it finishes loading the airport. This is really the first report we got of this kind of crash, nobody reported something like this before.

Does it happen at *all* FSDT airports ? What happens if you keep the Addon Manager and Couatl module loaded normall, and go to a default airport ?

Ok, that's more useful, it looks like that what has crashed, is your Visual C++ 2005 runtimes. I see you are using a newer version than the one the Addon Manager comes with, but is not the latest one.

And, there's a know issue that, some releases of the MS Visual Studio 2008 runtimes, break the 2005 version (which is the one FSX comes with), because the msvcr80.dll that comes with them is bugged. I think PMDG installs the 2008 runtimes.

Try this:

- Go into the Windows Control panel, select the option to Uninstall programs, and look for ALL istances of the MS Visual Studio redistributable runtimes, both 2005 and 2008 (if you have 2008). Remove them all.

Then, reinstall any of our sceneries (doesn't matter which one), and check the crash goes away.
