Updated KDFW AFCAD file as of 8-24-10
« on: August 25, 2010, 04:10:37 am »
Hello Gang!

I am back from my business trip and during this trip I had an opportunity to fly our of the East side of DFW and land on the West side, which gave me a chance to observe the position and location of various things.  I've updated the attached ADE file with the following:

1.  The GA ramp now has an office as in real life.  I could not find a building model in ADE that wold come close to what the real small shack looks like, so I improvised - hey!  a least we got an FBO office now.
2.  Added jet blast barrier missing in the GA parking area.
3.  Added large jet blast barriers at the end of runways 35L and 35C as in real life.
4.  Added windsocks at accurate locations (KDFW came without windsocks).
5.  Included the stock data
6.  Changed some cargo airline codes that were incorrect.

Hope this helps folks.

Have fun.

Sincerely,

Hey PilotGuy!

Welcome!

Of course you can still receive updates from FSDT whenever they make them available.  This file replaces the file named "AP_KDFW.bgl" inside teh FSDT KDFW Scenery folder.  Just take out or rename the file and drop this file into the scenery folder.

Enjoy!
