You Control - how does it work?
« on: August 13, 2010, 10:33:38 pm »
I do not have any FSDT sceneries that use this feature yet. Can anyone explain what does this feature do exactly? Does it only work at a specific gate/location of the airport?

YouControl it's a generic user-controlled trigger, it's driven by a menu in-game (like the ATC), that changes depending on the scenery.

We used mostly to let the user open/close animated Hangars, but it was also used to do other things, for example, it can trigger the specific jetway that reach the A380 3d passenger exit at KFJK, and in that case, it recognized the ariplane you are flying, so the menu option appears only if you are in an A380.

It's a very flexible system, we plan to use it more in the future, because it can control animations, events, etc.
