FS2020 Airport in FS2024

Please excuse my ignorance with this, I searched a lot through these forums and could not get a clear answer.  Long story short:

-Aerosoft LLBG installed in 2020, copied over to 2024

-GSX profile in C:\...\AppData\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS

-2020 GSX recognizes the profile (pushback to specific SP is selectable), 2024 just offers pushback as L or R.

If the airport is the same as 2020, the profile will work, unless the profile creator has set the profile to be "2020 Only", which is an option in the scenery Details page. It's a fairly recent addition that is used when the two version of the airport are not the same in 2020 and 2024, so the profile is assigned to only one simulator.

But if the option is not used, the profile will work in both simulators. If it's not enabled in the profile you are using, it's possible you might get a conflict from another scenery in 2024, so there extra parking spots in the sim coming from the Navdata API that would cause such issues.

Thanks for the prompt response.  For sure the 2020 only box isnt ticked, Ill check for any other scenery but I am certain I dont have any installed other than the Aerosoft one.
