Strange behavior on MSFS 2024 menu bar (since last update)
« on: March 26, 2025, 11:02:48 pm »
Dear all,

I hope you are all fine.

Since the last MSFS 2024 update, my GSX has a strange behavior showing the menu bar.

First, it loads with unreadable letters (s. Screenshot #1). When I click on the window, I can resize it, but a blue bar is displayed as well (s. Screenshot #2), which I can't close even when minimizing the window (s. Screenshot #3), That same bar does not disappear when I end the flight (s. Screenshot #4).

I don't know if this has been reported before in other situations. Any help is very much appreciated.

Best regards and happy flights,
Marco

I'm seeing this too when using GSX with the SU2 beta.

I would preferably have read "has already been solved here"  ;)

This problem doesn't have anything to do with the SU2 BETA Tooltips bug, it's ANOTHER completely different SU2 Beta Bug that of course doesn't have anything to do with the GSX update, it's a SU2 BETA specific bug and the GSX menu is not the only toolbar add-on affected by it.

It's fixed by a single click on the menu border window, so it will stay at the correct size for the rest of the session, provided you use the menu in the correct way, that is always opening/closing it with the hotkey, never from the toolbar, which has always been the correct way to use the GSX menu.
