Unable to Re install GSX PRO

I had problems that the error message 'unknown add on is causing Coutl to restart.'. I have tried to reinstall GSX Pro but it wont download. The error is in the attachment.
I have tried renaming the addon Manager so that a fresh folder can be created but still the same error comes up. Any help would be appreciated.

- Be sure you have the whole "Addon Manager" folder (the main FSDT install folder) added to the antivirus Exclusions

- Try again

- If that doesn't work, remove both these folders and try again:

%APPDATA%\Virtuali\PackagesCache
%APPDATA%\Virtuali\UpdateCache

Thanks for replying. I have done all that you suggested, the AddonManager folder was already on the exclusion list as shown in attachment.
I have also removed and re-installed MSFS2024. But I'm still getting the same error message. I removed the 2 folders in the Virtuali Folder but still the same.

Try using a VPN, which might get you a connection to another cloudflare node, that's the only other reason for such error.

Aren't you already trying to do that ? In any case, I looked your screenshot better and, the problem seems to be completely different: the installer got an "access denied" error when extracting a file, which can be caused by any of these:

- Antivirus blocking the installer, but you said it's already excluded.

- The simulator not being closed properly. But the FSDT Installer DOES check this and will refuse to run if MSFS is still running.

- The couatl engine still running. But the FSDT Installer DOES check this and will automatically terminate it in case it didn't close with the sim from the last session

- A permission problem in the Addon manager folder. But the FSDT Installer DOES check this and will automatically grant your user read/write permission on its folder.

Try to restart Windows and start the installer as the first thing you do and pay attention if you get the same error.

I initially uninstalled GSX because of the issue Unknown add on causing coutl to restart.
So now I’m trying to install it again after emptying my community folder.

I have started the PC this morning and run the installer before doing anything. Still get the same error message.

Seems to be the hotkey.json it can’t access?

Try to uninstalling everything, both GSX and the FSDT Universal Installer, then REMOVE the Addon Manager folder, and reinstall, this might fix any possible permissions issue still pending for some reason.

Must be done after a Windows reboot, before doing anything else.
