Hi Umberto,

Please would you be kind and help me figure out why this particular livery results in seated passengers disappearing as soon as they reach their seats? It would appear the file naming is correct. I tried my best but could not find out what exactly was wrong. When I compared it against the folder structure of an A319 whose passengers correctly "sit down" I found this one has a missing "MODEL" folder which is present for the livery whose passengers are OK. It would appear the GSX installer for some reason skipped this aircraft. I hope you can help as I'd love to have this livery with seated pax.

The link to the livery in question:

Please clarify which simulator you use.

I am having a similar issue here using Fenix aircrafts in MSFS 2024 on Win 10 PC ... have experimented using same aircraft variant and livery on identical routes ... sometimes pax board and sit down correctly but on other occasions they board, turn to sit down and disappear. on some occasions, they 'may' even be visible in their seats prior to de-boarding even though they disappeared at the start of the flight.
I have discovered something which, I hope is not a red herring and needs further explanation ...
If I uninstall and immediately reinstall the same livery (using Fenix Livery Manager), uncheck/check' seated passengers in GSX Config, pax board and sit down correctly. This process has to be repeated with other Fenix aircraft variants to get pax to work properly with their respective liveries.
One final thing that I'm trying to determine is if it is necessary to uncheck/check on a per livery basis or if it 'should' be possible to add a bunch of liveries and process them all in one go?

Unchecking/Checking MIGHT be needed only if Fenix updates the stock model exterior of the airplane. I said MIGHT, because the way we patch the liveries is done following Fenix suggestion, so the installed liveries shouldn't be affected by updates of the main model, at least in most cases.

Instead, just ENTERING the GSX Config Page, let it reload the list of airplanes and exit again IS 100% required and mandatory ( and explained in the manual ), if you add a new livery after the last time you ever entered the GSX Config Page. Failing to do so will GUARANTEE you will have Passengers disappearing as soon they sit.

MSFS 2024 adds an extra problem: due to its extremely restrictive LOD, it's possible everything has been configured correctly, but you'll still see passengers disappearing. This case can be confirmed if you notice all already seated passengers will appear again if you move the Showcase/Drone camera closer to the airplane and close to its center of mass. A possible fix in this case would be disabling the Dynamic FPS feature in the sim, and be sure the Object LOD is set at 200.

Thanks, appreciate you taking the time to provide such a detailed response ... will check sim settings, adjust if necessary and monitor future flights.
Another quick question please ...
Does the GSX Config procedure apply to all liveries (inc those from FSTO) or just those installed via the Fenix Livery Manager?

The FSDT installer by itself can support any livery, but some unofficial ones might not be recognized because of their package name (not *all* your Community folder is scanned to find airplane variations, that would take too long, that's why we assume some naming convention), we added a few variations on the accepted package names, but some liveries might need to be renamed in order to be recognized.

The manual explains all of this at Page 98, where all the known possible issues of missing passengers and their solutions are discussed.
