GSX opens 1L on PMDG 777

Whenever I select deboarding on the PMDG 777-300ER (with door 2L open and jetway attached), door 1L opens. I close it manually and then a few moments later it opens again.

Is this a bug?

Are you sure it's GSX opening the door ? We know PMDG does some door automation with GSX on their own.

I believe this is part of PMDG's GSX automation, from a PMDG ticket I made about this. They seem to have issues getting this to work. I hope they will contact FSDT to work it out.

Note that it's hard for users to pinpoint what is doing what in this case. Both the 'internal' profile working from FSDt and the internal PMDG GSX automation are 'hidden' from the user in code.

Hello, just finished a full flight with the PMDG B77L including full GSX operation.

found out:
-  it should checked the operations of doors closing after finishing the the services
-  1L is not closing also when requesting push back
-  FWD and AFT cargo doors , when deboarding is finished, closing and opening again and than closing together with the main cargo door

The door ops from GSX should be checked together with the automated door ops of the PMDG.

I did a flight without GSX...door 1L didn't open on arrival.

It might still be related to PMDG own automation, which is detecting GSX when it's running, but not doing anything when GSX is not running.

There is a specific issue with the 777-F though, and it's a problem with the Main Cargo door.

In the passengers versions, PMDG has added a variable (following our request) we can check from GSX to know if the PMDG ground vehicles are present, so we can send them away, this works fine with the passengers version, but the Freighter version doesn't have the same variable for the main Cargo door, so if you start a flight with PMDG vehicles attached, GSX cannot reliably know they are, resulting in a possible opening/closing of the Main cargo door. I need to check with PMDG again and ask if they could add the same variable they added for the FWD/AFT loaders to the Main Cargo door Loader but, other than that, there shouldn't be any other issues.

I am also having the same issue with the PMDG 777, door 1L opens when deboarding and doesn't want to stay closed when manually closing it.

It's an issue with PMDG's own code to integrate with GSX.
I made a ticket about it at PMDG, and they commented that they had trouble getting it to work as they wanted, and were contemplating removing the integration. I suggested they contact FSDT to solve the issue together as that would help mutual customers. Let's hope they do.
