Author Topic: GSX (MSFS2020) - tug driver sitting a couple of metres behind the tug seat  (Read 636 times)

Often, from AFTER the tug has connected and the brakes released, until the pushback has completed and the aircraft stopped, the tug driver instantly jumps from correctly positioned in their seat, to a few metres behind the seat ... and moves along with the tug until pushback is completed. Please note that before and after pushback the tug driver is correctly positioned in the tug seat.

I also noted recently, two / duplicated sets of ground personnel upon arrival at a small country aerodrome (apologies I can't remember which one). They were in different attire - so whether it was GSX crew and MSFS crew, or it was two sets of different GSX ground handling agents I can't be sure - but I recall the two marshallers were almost on top of each other (<1m apart).

I was flying the Black Square Turbine Duke, although I feel I have experienced the same thing from time to time also from the Fenix A320.

I cannot replicate this, is this happening with a particular type of tug and/or specific airports ?

I cannot comment on the type of tug, except that I assume it is a small one, as it generally occurs when pushing back the Black Squsre BE60 Turbine Duke. I believe it happens at all airports with that aircraft (where the tug driver is sitting behind the tug during the pushback process). Please note that before, and immediately after the actual moving pushback process, the tug driver snaps back to being correctly positioned in the tug seat ... it is only during the actual moving process that the driver becomes removed and is sitting a few metres behind the tug.
