Airport disabled by user settings.
« on: December 21, 2024, 05:15:10 pm »
I spawn at an airport and try turning gsx on but all it shows is that it's loading non-stop and saying that "Airport is disabled by user settings" I didn't change anything and I don't know how to enable it back. Probably multiple airports are disabled as well but the one I am currently experiencing an issue with is FSDT KORD for msfs 2024.

You need to be sure FSDT KORD is activated correctly and it's the latest version.

Yeah I think you are right, but... thing is I bought KORD (and also KCLT) from the marketplace. And now when I download it in MSFS 2024, it doesn't actually download it as a file i think, and instead it streams it which I do know. I don't think gsx sees streamed airports. So there is nothing I can do.

Same for me. KORD purchased from the Marketplace, GSX tells me the airport is disabled by user setting.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this? :/

I can only repeat and confirm the following:

- If you bought a scenery from the FSDT Website and you see that error, you must be sure the scenery is BOTH Active AND it's the latest version.

- If you bought a scenery from the MS Marketplace and you see that error, the FSDT activation doesn't matter, but you must be sure the scenery is the latest version on the Marketplace.
