Umberto,

is this a possibility? Currently and historically, I have had to complete an edit on a parking position then exit the edit. Then, I would check to see if a Jetway was operational. Be much more efficient whilst in editing mode.

Also, whilst in editing mode I wanted to ask if there was a way to allow my keyboard arrows (Up, Down, Left, Right) to be held down to accelerate/move an edit position rather than having to tap one of those keys repeatedly?

Cheers,

With Shift + Arrow key you can accelerate.

With Shift + Arrow key you can accelerate.

I am already aware of that, but it skips several places and is not suitable as I need to move incrementally but faster and more efficiently than key tapping repeatedly.

PS: I am almost certain this was available in FSX/P3D back in the day.

FSX/P3D supported auto-repeat of keys through Simconnect, MSFS doesn't.

Umberto,

what about testing Jetway operations during editing?

Works normally, with NumPad + 5, same as FSX/P3D, but when you are editing the STOP position (this is what you normally need to tweak to make the jetway work), since in MSFS you can't edit the Jetway itself.
