A380 seated passengers not working
« on: November 19, 2024, 09:30:04 pm »
Thanks for the update. I have ticked for seated passengers in A380 and the outside of the plane is missing when loading, an identical issue to the PMDG 737/777, which remains.

I just thought you should know.

I can't replicate it, but I tried with the two default liveries. If you could point me out to a livery that doesn't work( download link ), I can check it.

Never mind, an user on Discord pointed me to a non-working livery, so I could replicate the problem and fix it. Just run the FSDT installer again, it will update itself with a fixed version.

Hi again. Sorry, I should have asked. I cannot see any notes in the release. Do I need to open the cockpit door or flip a switch on the overhead panel? I have the cockpit door open, but the pax disappear when seated.

Thank you.

Same here. Passengers disappear when seated. Cockpit door is open.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the livery folder name in the Community folder, since I manually rename all the livery folders so it's easier for me to organize.

Page 98 of the manual explains all possible reasons why passengers might disappear when they sit, and of course name of the package is one of them, since the installer cannot blindly scan all airplanes in the Community folder (very slow), so it skips them if the package name is not as expected (way faster).

With the A380, the requirement is not very strict (since there aren't many A380s available for MSFS), the package name should *at least* contain the 380 string.
