Fenix A321 - A Couple Issues
« on: November 14, 2024, 03:47:43 am »
Flew the Fenix A321 for the first time today. When loading passengers there were 2 flight attendants standing in the same position greeting passengers at the door. Had to open and close the cargo doors manually when boarding and had to close the passenger door manually when boarding finished. That door opened automatically when boarding started.

If there's something I needed to do please advise.

Thanks,
Harry

GSX is not supposed to automate the airplane doors, if the airplane has custom variables using custom xml expression instead of standard numeric IDs, and the Fenix is surely one of these cases. When the airplane has custom doors variables, the task to automate door is handled by the airplane own coded GSX integration, assuming there is one and assuming it does door automation.

Thanks for that. I'll check for xml coding.

Any thoughts on why when loading passengers there were 2 flight attendants standing in the same position greeting passengers at the door? Had the flight deck door open and the passengers loaded and sat as expected.

Thanks,
Harry
