Not true, I use Comander 15's on the Airbus narrow body in Canada, it has a feature to reduce the width of the platform allowing for narrowbody and widebody use. Ideal for Stations like Ottawa YOW, where we get 2 widebodys a day and the rest is Airbus 320's with Containers.
I was of course referring to OUR rendition of the FMC Commander 15, which doesn't have the variable width platform, which is an option. The platform we had WAS too wide even for the A320/321.
For the A319 is bulk only, always.
That's why I said it was too large for the A319 in particular.
In any case, that's not really the point, the point is that is wrong restoring the old FMC models, because we haven't replaced them "just" because we have a new loader that has been designed for the whole A320 family (including the A319), so as an immediate solution IS the most correct one for the whole line, but we replaced them because the existing loaders started to look dated, because they were converted from P3D, and we are progressively retiring all converted models to replace them with new ones.
So, the correct solution is the correct one, while we are adding new ULD loaders, made from scratch in a similar level of detail than the new CCS loaders, and those not only will use the traditional "train of carts" method, but they will also feature 3 variations: Standard platform, Narrow platform and double scissors, so we can adapt to a wider variety of airplanes with an higher quality model.
They'll come in the next major update.
