FBW A380X breaks GSX?

I was recently extremely hyped to fly the new A380 for MSFS, however when starting up any route in the A380, GSX seems to crash in 5 seconds, like clock work. Even if I don't press anything in the GSX menu - as in clicking the GSX menu and waiting 5 seconds - the menu closes. If I try to open any popups, the GSX menu does not respond.

Here's what I did to combat the issue, of which none of these solutions have worked.
 - Update GSX from Live Update and from the Offline Installer,
 - Delete everything in my Community folder besides GSX and the A380x,
 - Try using 8k and 4k versions of the A380X.

I uninstalled the A380X and tried a flight in the 787, and GSX worked perfectly fine. I'm aware that FBW said there would be bugs in the open alpha, but they also claimed that there would be GSX profiles out the box, which confuses me.
Any help would be appreciated, screenshots avail on request.

Apparently a new GSX update today should enable the "ignore wingspan" by default in the GSX settings, however upon updating this did not happen for me.  So I had to load a smaller aircraft into MSFS which allowed me to use GSX and then select that option.  Im not sure if this is a permanent fix, but if you scroll through this forum you will see it's actually not unique to the A380 it seems.

Yeah, I saw that a new update was released but I haven't downloaded it, but I will try it out and let you know the results. Thanks!

Hello - Another problem I have identified is that if you use your physical keyboard (the one you have in your hands) at some point sound for GSX will stop working. You have to restart MSFS to have sound for GSX anew. Restarting Couatl is not enough. Hopefully this will be picked by FBW. Thanks

That's normal. Fact this option is the new default, doesn't mean if you already had your settings saved with the option disabled, the new default will override your previous choices. Your own choice is always respected, if an update could override it, it wouldn't even make any sense to have the option to begin with. That's why the release notes say the option can still be changed.

So, the new default, really matters only if you never saved any settings before. Otherwise, you'll still have to set it manually, when you can access the Settings menu, that is when spawning on a gate that *can* accept the airplane, or on the runway, if the airport has none.
