FUEL TRUCK (LVAR)
« on: September 23, 2024, 11:13:45 pm »
Good afternoon, sir.

I'm the developer for Flight Simulator First Officer (FSFO) and I'm attempting to improve my software integration with your awesome program.  To that end, I'm wonder if there's an LVAR to know when the fuel truck is in position, so I can select "8" from the GSX menu, which will use the fuel downloaded from Simbrief.  I'm using the remote control option, which locks out the GSX menu, and I noticed if a user doesn't select a fueling option (e.g. 40%, 80%, Simbrief), the fuel truck drives off without fueling the aircraft.  I didn't see anything on pages 85 through 90 in the manual.  Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

First, keep in mind the GSX fuel menu is not used if the airplane is flagged as having a custom Fuel system ( the "Show Fuel/Cargo" during refueling is disabled ) but, instead, a completely different procedure will be done, so you would need to be sure of this case, because those airplanes cannot be refueled by GSX, even if you turn back the option.

If you enabled Remote Control, you app is "the user", so you are supposed to intercept the menu event when it comes and act on it.
