Your issue is NOT "GSX related", GSX is affected by the simulator crashing, and when the sim crashes, the Couatl engine WILL crash, because not being a managed app, it's supposed to clean up its memory on exit, but since the sim dropped the connection abruptly, it MADE the Couatl engine crash, and you are misled thinking it's "GSX related", only because you see the Couatl in the Event Viewer, which in this case is the victim, not the cause.

I'm fairly sure that, if you check the Event Viewer TIMESTAMPS, you'll see that Flightsimulator.exe itself crashed, and it likely happened a few seconds BEFORE, proving it was Flightsimulator that made the Couatl engine crash, not vice-versa.

In any case, I don't know if you are the same person but, somebody on Discord posted something similar, and it turned out it was the MSFS Panel Pop out manager that cause the freeze, not GSX.

Thank you for replying.
 I am one of the guys on the discord topic. It took me and another user some time to understand that maybe this is related to popup displays. But it only happened after the Fenix and GSX last update. The Fenix statement misled me into thinking that any possible issue could be GSX related. As for me it only happened when GSX services were active at the gate. But then it happened inflight above 10000ft also. As on the ground I often change the focus from MSFS to Explorer, VatSpy, vPilot connecting and disconnecting etc, I think that that has something to do with MSFS being out off focus.
