Ctrl + F12 to bring up the menu, then use the number keys on the top of your keyboard to select whatever pops up on the menu.

@skip d,

Kevin gave the correct instructions. What happens when you select CTRL + F12?

A SimConnect window should appear with GSX options displayed. Does it?
Cheers,
Ray.

@skip d, One thing you might want to do is this. From the Add-ons menu in P3D select Couatl Settings - Restart Couatl and rebuild airport cache.

A progress bar appears top in green with red lettering.

Once it finished click the P3D screen to return it to focus and then press Ctrl+F12. You should then see a menu.
Cheers,
Ray.

Guys.....sorry for not elaborating better the prob I'm having. I'll try now and hope I make sense !!
First of all....Yes. I'm getting the promps exactly as you all have been saying...and I understand them.
Upon landing you have your choice of available, and soon available parking locations at any of the terminals at that airport.
I have 23 pyayware airports in the USA....where I fly exclusively.
What I've done with each airport(and this was tedious) was to assign 2 gates, with all the services I prefer, at random....and then go into my GSX 1&2 to the
add-on menu>customize airport parking. In there I arrange all the services I care for....(including the 'passenger walkways'...thank you Ray).
My expectation was to see these gates be among the ones appearing on the list of available/soon available gates to choose from after landing.
However...upon testing/landing I was not provided with any of the gates I had designed to accept the GSX services...so I picked
one of the offered gates at random...and was sorely disappointed upon arrival at that gate via the 'follow me vehicle'(which worked excellently)to find
all the service vehicles placed randomly and useless for the needs of the particular aircraft I was flying.

I hope I've explained the frustration I have....I feel I'm missing something important, because I've not seen ANY complaints about this on any
Sim forum.
Hope I can get some advice from anybody who is knowledgeable .
Thanks !! skip d

Skip, just because you’ve customised particular gates doesn’t make them available for you. If you have an Ai package like AIG those aircraft will randomly park at empty gates. You can’t do anything about that.

What might give you a better chance is to bring up the menu once below 10,000ft / 250kts.

You can select the position then but there’s no guarantee it won’t always ready be occupied. But if you have a registered FSUIPC you can zap any Ai as you turn into that gate.
Cheers,
Ray.

Thanks Ray.....that worked, although it didn't pick up my airport, among the 3 other airports, until I had captured the ILS.
Is that how it's supposed to work ?
I was at 10,000 and had to get down pretty fast, but it still gave me the gate i wanted !!

@skip, try around 7,000ft on the downwind leg. Speed <250kts.

If you have Ai Companion you can use it to delete any aircraft at your selected gate.
Cheers,
Ray.
