GSX Updater crashes when press config button.

Hello,

i updated via the FSDT Installer to the current 3.0 version, and when I click on config I am presented with an unhandled exception. I attached a screenshot. The program is run as an administrator and had no problems using the config Menu in the previous versions.

Any ideas/help?

It can't be with your version of net framework?
I would try to reinstall, check for the version 4.8

So I updated to the new version.  Went to Config from the installer and I get an "Unhandled exception"   value cannot be null, Parameter name: path1.   Seated Passengers just says "Loading airplanes....." and does not have a box or anything like I see in the videos.  I do have the Fenix A320 Block 2 plane.

Run the FSDT Installer again, we posted an hotfix for the installer which should be able to deal with more unofficial liveries (not all of them)

I have done that twice.  When you say "run it again" do I need to download a version?  I am clicking my installer link.

You don't say *when* you did that, the fix is online since 10-12 minutes only. Version 2.7.0.3 of the installer.

When I say "run it again", I mean exactly that, since the installer is capable of updating itself on startup. If you had to do something extra, I would said that.

How can I see the version of the installer?   I ran it a few minutes before I posted and after I posted the note.    With your comment I removed all my other A320 liveries and it does work now, however I fly the plane in several virtual airlines that require specific liveries so I do need this to work with them.   Will now place the liveries back in my MSFS directory and see I guess.  I hit Release Notes in the installer but not seeing the installer version.

thanks for merging the topics.

I just updated the FSDT Installer at 3:22PM CEST, so 4 minutes ago - and it still has the unhandled exception.

What I am reading is, that it might be realted to installed Fenix liveries?

The latest installer is 2.0.7.3 (FIXED) and the version can be checked like any other windows file, in the Details page of the file Properties. The file affected is \Addon Manager\Couatl_updater2.exe and it's supposed to be automatically downloaded as soon as you start the FSDT Installer from the Desktop icon.

So, before reporting ANY issue, be sure you have this version. If you have the latest version and you still have the error, since it's likely caused by an unofficial livery, remove them all (possibly using the Addon Linker to disable them) and add them one by one, until you find the offending one. If you found it, please provide a link to it.

Can you confirm the Version is 2.0.7.3? Might be a typo on your end :) Just double checking.

I get the 2.0.7.0 version even after downloading and install the new addon manager and running the FSDT installer. Even tried administrator rights, no change. Maybe need to uninstall and start from scratch?
