Pushback after engine start
« on: March 19, 2024, 05:52:58 pm »
If the APU is inop, it will be required to start the engine, then disconnect power/air/gate, and then request pushback. Right now if I try this, GSX says to me "you need to shut down engines to request ground services" ... Will there be in the next update an option to push back with an engine running (this is more common than you think).

You can already do this. Just go into the GSX settings and set it there.

From GSX Manual, Page 70:

Quote
Engines Start before Pushback
If this option is Enabled, GSX will wait for at least one Engine to start before starting Pushback. It’s normally used only with airplanes without an APU.

It's in the airplane profile, not the general GSX Settings.

Cool.. since it is a situational thing, can the option be made to "always ask" to maybe start engines before push? Otherwise GSX isn't allowing for a dynamic situation.
