I have a question about the turnaround workflow. It only worked once for me and I can't remember what I did different that one time.
From the Manual:
Turnaround Workflow
• After landing, but before calling GSX at the gate, generate a flight plan on
Simbrief valid for the return flight. Done this
• Open the GSX menu and, if you are parked with engines off, the new Simbrief
plan will be read. No, the simbrief button stays red, and it says that the flightplan is different, I can't click it, and when I do, I get the same message as pop-up message (although the mentioned flightplan is the new one)
• If you already opened GSX but haven’t generated a flight plan for the return
flight, or you normally pre-select a gate in GSX before landing, you can also
generate the dispatch for the return flight later, then press the “Reload Simbrief”
button on GSX to load it in GSX. This will not trigger any PMDG automation
yet, but will reset an eventual GSX VGDS with the info for the return flight. Same issue
• If you loaded enough fuel to do both trips, so you won’t need refueling, just
don’t call the GSX Refueling service. Since GSX won’t set the Fuel until you call
Refueling, this will cover this usage case as well.
• If you select Deboarding in GSX, Payload will be set to 0% when Deboarding
completes. This works, but when refueling for the next flight, I have to set the fuel manually once the truck arrives, and when I board for the next flight, it sets the payload of the previous flight
Suggested GSX Settings All set as suggested
• “Always Refuel Progressively” ENABLED.
• “Detect custom aircraft system refueling” DISABLED
• “Assistance Services “Auto” mode” DISABLED
What am I missing? I am using the PMDG 738.
