No Bluetooth audio devices recognized
« on: December 03, 2023, 11:37:10 pm »
Hi,

I'm using AirPods with MSFS, and when I go to the audio settings in GSX they do not show up as an audio device, so I do not have any sound from GSX. It's not specific to the AirPods, I tried a different Bluetooth headset too and this didn't get recognized either.

Does GSX not support Bluetooth audio at all, or is there any solution to make this work?

Thanks!

You need to be sure the headsets are connected before GSX (more precisely, the Couatl engine) starts.

If you connect them after GSX, you need to go into the GSX Audio settings page, and select them again, which will cause the Couatl engine to restart.

That was it, thanks Umberto!! I usually connect the AirPods once I get into the cockpit so that was the issue...

The problem was that when I connected them after GSX they did not even show up in GSX audio settings page, so I couldn't select them. But anyways, now it's all good, I just make sure to connect first.... thanks! 👍
