Can not open the Settings menue

Hey Guys i have the version 2.8.4 but i hear not sound and can not open the Settings the only once is the About menu in Sim. I can change no sound no speed tug anywehre.

I have new installation but i see not GSX Settings

After update to 2.8.4 version I can't open the GSX settings, there are no sounds of ground handling and female voice acting. When you click on the "Request boarding" button for the first time, nothing happens. Only after a repeated request does the handling appear, but, as I said, without sound. There is also no couatl in the Windows mixer

Use a pure text editor like Notepad, open this file, and remove all lines belonging to the [common] section of this file:

%APPDATA%\Virtuali\Couatladdons.INI

Then restart Couatl.

I have exactly the same error. No sound from the ramp agent during pushback.

Furthermore I have no possibility to customize the sounds because my settings window only opens like in this thread: http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,30757.0.html

Unfortunately, I can't access the settings either. See screenshot.



I have deleted all lines belonging to the [common] section in the Couatladdons.INI. This did not solve the problem.

I have also tried to generate the couatl.log (in the attachment). I hope this helps if necessary.

I have exactly the same problems since version 2.8.4. No more sound from the ground crew and the Settigs menu won't open. I have removed the lines in the ini as described. No improvement.

Please help or go back to the last Version.

We are obviously working on a fix, in the meantime you can use the 2.8.3 Offline installer, which has been confirmed by multiple affected users doesn't have this problem:
