Suggestion - Quick Edit Pushback Controls
« on: November 26, 2023, 06:38:29 am »
Currently, if we want to quickly edit the pushback position, we need to use the NumPad1/3 keys to rotate the pointer and Shift to rotate faster. Usually, we need to click multiple times to complete the editing. Unfortunately, the current GSX only supports one click for each rotation. That means we need to keep pressing and releasing the key.

Therefore, I would like to suggest to the support team to implement a feature where if the user does not release the key, the application will regard it as a continuous click and keep rotating the pointer until the user releases the key.

It's not that GSX doesn't support this.

In fact, GSX supports this, in FSX and P3D, because in FSX or P3D, when you keep a key pressed, you are getting called back by Simconnect multiple times for as long you keep the key pressed, so auto-repeat is inherent, while in MSFS, if you keep a key pressed, you only get called once, until you raise the key and press it again.
