Of course is not an issue, and of course it doesn't require a complete restart, it never did.
Now, whether it is an issue for YOU, it's a completely different matter and HOW to fix it in your system, depends on a proper report of the problem, which in your case is lacking, because you are not saying:
- Is this happening on starting the simulator, or during flight?
- If this this happening on starting the simulator, is JUST an issue of not starting automatically with the sim, for which we have an appropriate Sticky thread here, aptly named "
Couatl starts manually, but not automatically with the simulator":
https://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,26924.0.html- If this this happening on starting the simulator but you still can't fix it by starting manually, so it's NOT "just" a matter of "not starting automatically", but it's a matter of not starting AT ALL, why you opened a new thread with a useless title (do you think is helping others finding a solution when a thread that might be related to them is called "why oh why"?), when there's already a proper Sticky thread, with a proper title "
Couatl engine hasn't started - How to report a problem"
https://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,26759.0.htmlWhich you should have posted together with your startup Log, as instructed there ?
- Finally, the 3rd possible case why you might see this message, which you haven't clarified is: everything starts normally BUT, you get that message during or after a flight, suggesting the program might have crashed mid-flight.
This is of course another completely different issue, which would also require a log and some description where it happened (during flight, after landing, etc.)
