"Bad jetway data" on arrival at FSDT's KORD
« on: September 14, 2023, 06:44:13 pm »
Hi there,

I seem to have a recurring problem in that when arriving at KORD, everything works up to the point where I dock the jetway at the gate and request deboarding. Then no passengers appear. The Couatl logs show a lot of errors regarding jetway data. This does not happen when I spawn at KORD, and it can also be cured by re-starting Couatl after landing, so dealing with the issue is simple enough. Nevertheless, there seems to be something wrong here, so I supply couatl logs from three separate attempts - the first two where I went all the way to the gate, and the third where I re-started Couatl after vacating the runway. I hope this may help to identify and fix the underlying cause.

If the scenery or GSX had a problem, it would always show, regardless if you are arriving or if you start there.

According to SU13 Beta release notes, there where several bugs in the Navdata API resulting either in locks up or bad jetway data arriving:

Quote
Jetway API has been fixed:
If an error occurred while listing jetway, the wrong one will be ignored

Requesting some data using the NavData API shouldn’t freeze the sim anymore

So this should be fixed when the final SU13 will be out.
