How to reassign F6 for Passenger walkway steps?
« on: August 24, 2023, 11:28:47 pm »
I have made a mistake.

I use the Prosim 737 system to link my hardware cockpit, to P3d V6. Prosim communicates directly and requires that all P3d axis, and many other assignments, are deleted so that they do not conflict.

When I upgraded to V6 recently I went in, and deleted the yoke, rudder, throttles axis and remembered that I needed to delete the axis assignments in Slew for correct GSX2 operation. I did that, but I foolishly deleted all the button assignments in slew as well.

I realized my error and was able to reassign the required num pad editing buttons, using the information on the pop-up graphic listing, provided when you enter aircraft parking space configuration. The one that is missing is the assignment of 'F6' for the new passenger walking points. I can't move on to the next step after the first point.

What do I assign 'F6' to in Slew? Are there others, not on the card, that I should reassign (for jetways etc)?

F6 appears to be for Slew (freeze pitch). Hope this helps.
